Once your registration has been processed, Seeds of Hope will send you an important envelope to the mailing address you have provided. This envelope will contain critical event information as well as the dates, times and locations for early registration pick-up where you can pick up your t-shirt and goody bag with your meal ticket.

Early Goody Bag Pick-up
Save time and avoid long lines on race day by picking up your goody bag early! Goody Bags will include important ride information, your t-shirt, event meal ticket (make sure you bring this to the event), and of course goodies!  They will be available for pick-up at several locations on a variety of days to be determined prior to the week of the event. Details will be posted here and emailed to registered participants. Goody Bags will be available for pick-up on race day from 7:30-9:30am for those unable to attend any of the pre-event pick-up opportunities.
Please note that participants are not permitted to pick-up any Race Goody Bags except their own without written permission from the participant(s) for whom they are picking up the Goody Bags. If a participant is picking up Race Packets for five (5) or more other participants, they will need to pre-arrange their pick-up time at least 24 hours in advance by calling (805) 202-8456.  IDs will be checked for bag pick-up. These restrictions are necessary as a result of packets never reaching the corresponding participants and to eliminate Seeds of Hope’s liability if a participant does not receive their packet from the individual who picks it up.

Who can register?
Anybody, of any age, from anywhere can register for Cycle of Hope for Africa! On the registration form you will be asked to indicate whether you would like to register as an individual or a tribe. In either case, the cost per participant is the same. For more information on participating as an individual or team scroll below.

Registering as an individual indicates that you would like to participate in the ride without official ties to another group and/or other riders. An individual’s pledge goal is to raise $100. For information on how to register clicking here.

Clubs, organizations, groups of friends, churches and businesses can choose to participate in Cycle of Hope as a tribe (team). There are no requirements for tribe size, and participating as part of a tribe has several advantages, including:
· Tribes are eligible to win awards for the largest tribe, the most creative tribe (based on tribe name and costumes), or the most money raised by a tribe
· Tribes can wear uniform apparel advertising their business, group or unique personalities.  We encourage creativity!

If you would like to register as part of a tribe, talk with your group or business, decide on a tribe name and make sure all those desiring to be a part of your tribe indicates the chosen tribe name when registering.

How do I register as a Tribe?

1. Decide on a tribe name
2. You may register online or with a hard copy registration form.
3. Recruit Tribe members
4. Make sure all those desiring to be part of your tribe indicate the chosen tribe name when registering.
5. Have tribe members set a pledge goal of at least $1,000 and collect pledges online or by using the printable pledge form.
6. Be creative! Will tribe members wear your company t-shirt? Will they dress in a costume or a theme? While all costumes should be family friendly, the sky is the limit!
7. Bring your collected pledges, using the pledge form provided to you, to the Seeds of Hope Office by November 12th or bring them with you to the event.
